Discovering Your Own Immeasurably More Story

We all have a story. It is a story that God is writing in us and through us for His glory. However, most of the time we are so busy pursuing our own dreams that we never stop to embrace God's greater story for us. Yet, God has been writing our story from before we were born. It is important not to settle for what this world has to offer, but to learn to embrace the Immeasurably More life God has for us!

So, how do we discover this greater story in our lives? How do we understand our own Immeasurably More story?

At Rolling Hills, we recently embarked on doing a 7-day devotional as a church in order to help people discover their own personal Immeasurably More story. The feedback has been amazing. For some, by beginning with how they wanted to be remembered, they discovered what they want their legacy to be - and therefore can now spend their time on the things that matter. Others experienced God showing them a different perspective on their past and what a difference this has made as they look into their future. They realized that they are not defined by their past, but by Christ. In addition, people shared how focusing on their passion has allowed them to say "No" to some good things in order to invest their time and resources in the things that really bring them joy. They are moving into their sweet spot of life - where God created them to thrive - and it has made an incredible impact on them.

It is amazing to me how people will spend hours planning a vacation that only lasts a week. Or, they will spend days planning their retirement that will only last a few years. Yet, we were created for more than a one-week vacation or even for retirement. We were created to know Christ and to reach our full potential in Him. This devotional has helped our people at Rolling Hills jumpstart this process. It has helped them begin to experience the Immeasurably More life that God has for them.

Today, I want to extend this 7-day devotional to you. Everyone who buys an Immeasurably More book from our website will receive a free digital download of the 7-day devotional guide. I encourage you to take 7-days in order to impact the rest of your life.

Just know I am praying for you and cheering you as you experience all God has for you!

Blessings!

The Nashville Predators are playing for the Stanley Cup in hockey, but in my mind and in this city they have already won. Regardless of whether they capture the Cup or not, they have built an organization that has transformed this community. I believe in the Nashville Predators we see 5 keys to success that can be applied to any individual. Wherever you are in life, here are some keys from the Nashville Predators to help you succeed.
Inside Out vs. Outside In
Inside Out vs. Outside In

Most people live - outside in. We are always trying to fix everything on the outside - our marriage, our workplace, our kids, and the list goes on.  As much as we would like, we can't control everything on the outside. There has to be a better way to live. And, in fact, there is...

When we stop dreaming, we stop living. We serve a God who is big. We serve a God who can, and will, accomplish the dreams He has placed in our hearts. We should never grow comfortable or complacent and stop. We must keep dreaming, growing and living our lives for Him.
